David's final (officially recorded) words are in the form of a psalm. Toward the end of his reign as king, David is thinking about his legacy. His desire is to be remembered as one who ruled justly, in the fear of the Lord. David's legacy is also carried on by his mighty men. Each one of us should also lead and live in light of the legacy we will leave behind.
