David falls into temptation (Bathsheba) and fails his God in a BIG way. David sees something that is not his and he abuses his position to get it. Not appearing to care who he hurts along the way. His sin with Bathsheba was only the beginning of this epic sized fail, he then lies, gets Uriah drunk, and then murders him and other Israeli soldiers so that his adultery with Bathsheba won't be found out. God uses His prophet Nathan to convict David of his sin after living in it for 7 plus months. David confesses, repents, loses his son and sees Gods judgement and also his Grace.
