Paul continues to turn the corner in the beautiful book of Colossians. He has made a strong case for the power of the pure Gospel of Jesus Christ. Now he moves on to the beautiful implications of a life that has been touched by Full-Strength Christ: a Full Life! By identifying the sinful desires and characteristics that we are to "put to death", we can be on guard against the old nature that is at war with our new nature. And by identifying the marks of a Full Life, we can strive toward spiritual maturity and a life of gratitude.
