The end of the book of Luke begins much as the book began. There is worship of our Lord, much as Mary worshiped when she found out that she would bear the Savior. And as Luke began by telling Theophilus the purpose of his book, "...That you may have certainty concerning the things you have been taught." Luke wants his readers to KNOW beyond a shadow of a doubt that Jesus is Messiah, that the scriptures are true, and much more.
