As we get older, it's all-too-easy to lose the child-like expectancy and anticipation of the Christmas season. In the Gospel of Luke, these themes are masterfully used to build the story of redemption through the birth of a Savior. An unexpected visit from the angel Gabriel abruptly changes the course of two lives; but ultimately will change the entire course of human history. First, Gabriel visits Zechariah, to tell him of the birth of John the Baptist; secondly we see Gabriel revealing to Mary that she will be the one to carry the Son of the Living God! When we compare and contrast the responses of Zechariah and Mary, we can see God's will for each one of us this Christmas season.

The Kingdom of God is described in the Bible as a family; complete with brothers, sisters and a perfect Father. Through sickness, great joy and everything in between we need to be connected with our family. We desperately need a right relationship with our Daddy, and we desperately need each other to survive this life! Through this team-teach, Pastors Kevin and Stephen will show us three statements we must make to become a functional family; Father—I need your help, brother—I need your help, and brother—you need my help.
