God's Justice is Just; My Justice is a Joke - Audio
Sunday Feb 24, 2013
Sunday Feb 24, 2013
In 1 Samuel 25 David is insulted and rejected by an ill-mannered and rash man. David's first response is to exact vengeance on the man for his foolishness. However through the wise and discerning counsel of a beautiful woman, David sees the error of his ways and decides to leave the "justice game" to God. As believers in Jesus Christ we are called to trust in God's justice and to release our own "sense of justice" on a regular basis. By contrasting human justice with God's true justice, we will gain insight to face the difficult trials of our lives.

David's actions provide a template for us in our broken relationships with each other. Rather than attacking and undermining our "adversaries," we can begin to repair our relationships…God's way!
