Jesus Christ came to this earth as a man, while at the same time being God. He lived a sinless life and sacrificed himself for our sins. He paid the price that we never could, giving us the way to eternal life, through simple belief in Him. It is the greatest story the world has ever known.

The Triumphal Invitation - Video
Sunday Mar 24, 2013
Sunday Mar 24, 2013
As we take a two week break for Easter from our study of 1st Samuel, we look at Luke's account of the Triumphal Entry or the Triumphal Invitation as we like to call it. Jesus was heading to Jerusalem to finish His Mission. Jerusalem was the goal, always was, and Jesus has finally made it there. Jesus shows us He has needs for us in His mission, not just part of us, but our whole life, our stewardship, praise and our brokenness. Through His example here in Luke we can clearly see that He is asking us to be on mission with our 'stuff', our worship of Him and our heart, breaking for what breaks his heart: the lost.

It's Time to Get Going! - Video
Sunday Mar 10, 2013
Sunday Mar 10, 2013
As David nears the end of his "wilderness experience" running from Saul, he seizes the opportunity to work toward the mission God had given to Israel decades earlier: claiming the Promised Land and ridding the land of idolatry. He has watched King Saul sit idly by for far too many years, and decides, "It's time to get going!" You and I have also been given a mission. It is far too easy to let days slip into years as our mission sits undone. Our mission is the Great Commission. For you and me, "It's time to get going!" We will talk about the urgency of the Gospel and even give a practical way to begin engaging our mission right where we live.

Sunday Mar 03, 2013
Sunday Mar 03, 2013
Just as in Chapter 24, David is presented with an opportunity to kill King Saul and end his time on the run, in the wilderness. Once again, David refuses to reach out his hand against the Lord's anointed. Why is David tested again? How has he grown and matured? In the same way that David did, we face retests in our lives. They are inevitable and oftentimes overwhelming. Life's retests are designed to drive us to God. We can learn to love life's retests when we realize that they are for our growth and for God's glory.
